The Viking Biking Club invites you to join us for the 3rd annual Tour de Taverns bicycle poker run. You ask, "what is this about?" Its a rolling circus. Eighteen miles on the Military Ridge bike trail. Approximately 4-5 miles between scheduled tavern stops. Each stop will allow you to draw a card which will be applied to your 5 card poker hand. The 2009 Tour de Taverns is ON!

SATURDAY:Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High: 70Wind: W/SW 8-15 MPH

We're willing to roll the dice that the majority of our day will be nice riding weather. Bring your rain coat just in case. A dry change of clothes at the finish might feel good come 5pm if we're wrong on the weather.

See you tomorrow.

Will it rain?

We will be making the official call for this event at 2pm on Friday the 25th.

Chances are we will still be riding if the forecast involves "occasional" or "scattered" showers.

Bring your rain coat. We've made poker runs in the rain and it makes for a whole different kind of fun. You gotta be careful not to get sucked into the soft shoulder of the bike trail though....guaranteed laughs.

More to come Friday........
